Without further ado, here are some tips and tricks for keeping your home clean and orderly for the new year!
Getting Organized for Tax Season
Store that Decor
It's bittersweet, we know, but it's time to take down all your holiday gear, including the tree and lights! No shaming if you are inclined to leave all your fabulous array of holiday accouterment up all year; it can certainly define a particular style. Lights

Reorganize Your Wardrobe
If you still have warm-weather clothes taking up space in your wardrobe or three of four ugly holiday sweaters that you won't be wearing until next year, it might be time to store them.
It's a great way to free up some space in the wardrobe! Of course, before storing, it's always good to check your clothes for damage and stains and get everything cleaned and repaired beforehand so they're nice and ready to wear when you go and get them.
Double Check Garage/Closets
We get it—you don't look closely at garages or closets daily. Storage is supposed to be out of sight and out of mind. But clutter can begin to pile up, and it's never a bad idea to check in on your storage areas a couple of times a year to see how things are faring. Maintenance

Check expiration dates thoroughly! No one likes finding a bottle of hot sauce from 2018 or that fruitcake from the holidays that is now as hard as a bowling ball and taking up space. It's very easy to forget about something in the back of the fridge—we don't judge! But it's best to start the year with a clean fridge and freezer.
